Beubeu et Popo…un couple d’heureux chafouins qui nous ont offert une sacrée belle fête de mariage dans un cadre de rêve et avec une date inoubliable : 7-7-7! Encore un WE de malade avec trop pleins d’amis, c’est trop bon.

We organised them in 6 albums :

the friend and family album – The special people we came to see! Featuring Claire, Davy, Geil, Alex and Toubaaaab!
Our NYC trip was nuts! pika.
Every once in a while on saturday mornings, along the Ljubljanica, there is the Art street, where slovene artists come to show and sell their paintings, crafts and so on. There are some really beautiful things to buy, like for example pictures on wood or illustrations from Mojca Sekuli. I created a photo album with some pics as well as pics from the market. And then there is the street art nicely developing on walls around and in the center of LJ. Ozren created a group pool on Flickr with some of his really nice pics of LJ street art to celebrate and document this form of free expression.
October 7, 2006. What a day, what a night. All the elements came together, and we celebrated Delphine and Erwann. Unity. Love. Friendship. Sunshine. Moonlight. Good time. Boogie! The perfect combination for a perfect day!

SmileyCam, a series of one-of-a-kind photographs taken by pinhole photographer Justin Quinnell. For this project, Justin used his self-invented SmileyCam to turn his mouth as a pinhole camera. The resulting images employ odd angles, unconventional observations, and are definitely unexpected.
Just click on the Latest pics box on the left side content bar and you end up on our flickr account where we upload all our digital pics! The evil side of Flickr is that if you want to create unlimited sets or upload an unlimited number of pics you need to upgrade to a “pro” account and spend 5 bucks a months. If you really want to be part of the whole Flickr thing, it is a must! Otherwise a cool alternative to stock your pictures online is yahoo! photo where you have unlimited space! That’s where we keep our albums.
Latests of those include : drug addicts, beach bummers, and “we want to be tourists in our own town“!
We change the header every week.So we created an album for all of the past ones here. We’ll update it as weeks go by (arghh!).
Speaking of photography, check out the Flickr page of Rebekka. She is one of Flickr’s biggest contributor, and she is very talended. All the comments, and picture views she got made her famous in the Flickr community and now she ended up getting serious offers in the ‘real’ world!

We are back in "photo/video everywhere" action! We got ourself this new Sony Cybershot W50!We chose this one because we were kind of bound to Sony since we allready had memory cards and a wide angle lens which fits perfectly one this new camera too. Plus Sony is trying to hit the market hard with this new line of compact digital cameras, therefor they are putting top quality products at a very competitive price.
In this previous post, we were asking for your feedback and ideas about cool places/countries to go for a backpack trip. Thanks for the comments and advices you left us!We made up our minds and also managed to find some cool tickets to go to PHILIPPINES! Yeah!
The choice was mainly motivated by the fact that it sounds more exotic and 'hardcore', and that the country looks unbelievable! Plus we had some great advices from our friends Julie and Alex who used to live in Manilla and got us completly excited about all the possibilities especially for diving, trecking, the food and the people. So that's it, this august we are off for another crazy trip!

Matjaz Krivic is probably the best-known slovene photographer. He is a “globe-trotting photographer specialising in capturing the personality and grandeur of indigeneous people and places”.
We have always been fascinated by the purity of his pictures and were super stocked to discover his open air expo in the Tivoli Park in Ljubljana. This expo focuses on Earth temples :
Throughout my travels, I have noticed one special trait shared by cultures all over the world. People seem to have a need for and attraction to a special place of worship and medidation be it a church, a mountain, a river, or simply a rock stuck in the ground. [...] My aim here is to capture this feeling of gratitude and adoration for life on earth, and to share it with those who see these photographs.

The Palais de Tokyo is the contemporary creation museum of Paris. We enjoy going there because the space is great and the expos are always interesting with huge installations. Plus it’s a well known skateboard spot. We went there today to check out the current expos : “Notre Histoire…”, showcasing the best of the upmerging french artistic scene, and “Ultra peau”, all you want to discover about your skin. Here you can find some of our pics from today’s visit but also some older pics from previous visits in Palais de Tokyo.
Last tuesday, May 9th, the smurfs invaded Paris – first the cows, now the smurfs . No seriously Paris celebrated the European Day by lighting up the Eiffel Tower in blue and the Troca in red. So we went for a long expo photo mission! With the cloudy grey sky the results are quiet surnatural! Some pics are really good and you can check them out here. If you walk around Paris right now, you can spot some funky cows. Cows invaded Paris last week. There are 180 of them all over town. This is part of the Cow Parade Tour which allready took place in New York, Las Vegas, London, Barcelona, Geneva, Tokyo, Sao Paolo, Moscow, Sydney, Prague…We spotted “Geneviève “, “Le Goût du Naturel“, “Mens Agitat Molem” and a few of their friends. It’s been a busy WE – partywise! Starting with a live disco show on friday and climaxing with Pilou’s heavy metal birthday party – with a rockabilly flavor and a lot of broken teeth - on saturday night, we just had enough energy to chill in sunny Paris in the afternoon before taking it easy most of the sunday…
A "not to be missed" exposition (with photography, film, paintings, installations and more) on the emergence of the artistic scene from Los Angeles, is the main event in the Centre Pompidou in the heart of Paris until july 17th.
The many-sided history of a peculiar scene, from its emergence at the beginning of the 1960s up until 1985. Over sixty artists, on a path which deals with topics such as the search involved in the art of assemblage, Pop art, Californian minimalism, conceptual art, performance, installations, video and experimental film.
